Chicago Title is a nationwide leader in title and escrow services. In a fractured digital industry, I was in charge of leading a design and development group to help unify a large system of national and local branch websites.
Over a decade of website mismanagement had caused Chicago Title to lose focus of their online brand. Our key goal was to deliver a useable, branded experience that could apply to the high level national websites as well as community branches. Outside of my design role, I also worked with both internal and external development teams, assisted in hiring a project manager, and instituted an agile development schedule to maximize productivity.
The national website was intended to be a gateway to brand awareness and information about Chicago Title. From the larger scale, we'd be able to point customers to the appropriate documentation they needed or branch that could assist them.
For the national websites, integration of a revitalized brand I created was scheduled along with the rollout.
Following the style of the established brand, we needed to continue creating experiences for smaller scale offices in regional specific areas. We also had to consider backend customer services requiring authentication, which were provided by some branches.
